Me and Cassius were able to get past the damned rats and that one zombie... 'cept now, we are in one gigantic cave filled with hungry, and well equipped, goblins. Cassius was not scared at all! In fact, he rose his shield, drew his blade and rushed into the mess. While the goblins charged at him, I killed a rat... TWO!!
But what really had me worried was a shaman with a staff... a staff with a goblin head at the top. He was walking towards a mobbed Cassius, and I was not about to let him die. Not with all these damned goblins around. I charged head-first at the shaman... and tripped on a rock. Luckily, the trip made me throw the sword and, accidentally, impaled the goblin.
Standing up, I looked to help Cassius after pulling the sword from the corpse, but he was waiting for me with a grin. Such a cocky grin; Oh what I would have killed to swipe that grin off his face. And I did! I saved his ass! Just as he saved mine...
*ramble*

I have to say, this mine had a lot of interesting items in it; flawed jewels, and that staff! Even though it has a head on it, it can produce lightning! LIGHTNING!!!!
My storage bag keeps getting heavier and heavier, it's filled with enough crap to supply a camp; I even have a bedroll!
So, we are walking on.
---
We came up on an opening... probably more loose bricks. Will update when I get out.
---
Well, we got out of the tunnels, and back into real action. As soon as we jumped out of the hole, the emperor was attacked. Glenroy looked pretty battered up, and Baurus was holding up fine. As we rejoined, Glenroy, already bleeding, drew his blade and proceeded to our position. His intention was obviously to kill us both.
Emperor Uriel VII wove his hand and told him to stop. Glenroy, disappointed, looked at me... with blood lust.
"What about that one?!"
Cassius spoke for me. Never have I been so thankful. Willing to oblige to Cassius, as of the imperial was one of the divines, Emperor Uriel VII nodded. What is going on here?! An emperor submitting to a prisoner?!
As we walked forward, as Uriel VII had beckoned, he explained his following of the divines and asked Cassius of his sign. Almost about to faint, I missed what Cassius had said and the Emperor's follow-up. What about me?! he'd be dead without me, damn it!
Continuing through this strange place, we ran into a road block; gates locked from the inside. taking a side entrance, Glenroy lead us cautiously inside before realizing it was a dead end.
---
That Glenroy; quite impulsive. Impulsive yet smart... and dumb.
He had realized it was a trap and rushed out to fight the assassins. However, he didn't bother with wondering if there was an assassin in the room.
I took my weapon to help guard the entrance, but looked towards the emperor before taking stance. He was talking frantically, and forcing a necklace with a marvelous red jewel into Cassius's hand. I was able to grasp the words 'find him, and close shut the jaws... of Oblivion...'. Looking to the fight, I saw Glenroy parried from his attack. As he fell forward, his attacker shoved a one of the glowing daggers deep into his ribs. Yet, Glenroy still had the stamina to land a head-slicing maneuver. Baurus had taken care of his lot and Glenroy was about to collapse.
I had not formal training as a healer, but the stab wound was fatal.
To make matters worse, I see a few more assassins coming...
---
After Baurus survived the second wave, Glenroy fell. He was quite the fighter... yet held too much of a passion.
As I was able to push away an assassin, before I heard the sound of a stone pillar moving. When I looked towards the Emperor, I saw an assassin jump to the Emperor! His blade was aimed towards his heart!!
